βIf you can see it, you can improve it. This is your performance fingerprint β and every post leaves a clue.β
π What Is Growth Tracking?
Growth Tracking is a brand-new feature in Clue Labs that helps you visualise how your content performs across every stage of your social media funnel β from Awareness β Audience β Engagement β Conversion.
It shows how your metrics move together over time so you can finally understand whatβs driving your growth and where to focus your effort next.
π Data tracking began on 21 September 2025. Youβll only see trends from this date onwards.
π§ Why It Matters
Growth Tracking helps you:
Identify your weakest funnel stage (so you know where to improve first)
See how one stage influences another (e.g., Engagement rising as Awareness dips)
Track how your results change over 7, 30, or 90 days
Measure your contentβs real impact, not just raw numbers
Build a more predictable growth model over time
π How to Read the Chart
Each coloured line represents one stage of your funnel:
Stage | Colour | What it Measures |
Awareness | π’ Green | Reach, views, impressions |
Audience | π΅ Blue | Non-follower views, shares, follows |
Engagement | π£ Purple | Likes, comments, saves, interactions |
Conversion | π Orange | Clicks, link taps, bookings, emails |
All metrics are normalised to a baseline of 100, so you can easily see percentage change rather than being distracted by inconsistent raw figures.
Above the graph, youβll notice a row of black number tiles β these show how many posts were published on each day.
This lets you correlate posting frequency with performance spikes.
π Date Ranges
Use the filters at the top-right of your chart to view:
7-day view β short-term momentum
30-day view β average performance trends
90-day view β long-term progress
Each time period recalibrates the baseline so you can compare relative growth at a glance.
π Deep-Dive by Day
Click on any date point to open its Daily Breakdown on the right-hand side.
Youβll see the exact data sources that make up each stage:
Awareness
Story reach, follower views, reel reach, carousel views, post views, total impressions
Audience
Non-follower views, shares, and new followers
Engagement
Likes, comments, saves, total interactions
Conversion
Profile link taps, call-to-action clicks, and email link taps
Example:
On Oct 15, your Awareness reached 5,291 views (mostly from Stories at 32%), Engagement totalled 52 interactions, and 1 email link tap recorded as a Conversion.
𧩠Understanding Normalised Trends
Normalisation means every line starts from the same baseline (100).
This allows you to clearly see percentage change between stages β even if their original numbers are on completely different scales.
It also helps you spot relationships, such as:
A dip in Awareness while Conversion rises β your content is resonating with the right people.
A spike in Engagement but flat Audience β great interaction, but limited new reach.
π Tips for Using Growth Tracking
Post Consistently β The more you post, the more accurate your trend data becomes.
Compare Campaigns β Use the date filter to evaluate what worked during a specific campaign or launch.
Focus Your Energy β Check which stage consistently ranks lowest and plan your next actions around it.
Celebrate the Clues β Look for patterns where multiple stages rise together β those are your high-leverage content types.
π¬ FAQ
Why canβt I see data before 21 September 2025?
Because Growth Tracking is a new feature, earlier data wasnβt collected in a normalised format suitable for these visuals. Future tracking will automatically build over time, this refreshes every 24 hours within your account.
For example, if you are brand new to Clue Labs, no data will appear until 24 hours after you connect your first brand, and it will only display social media activity from the last 24 hours.
What if I can't see any Growth Tracking data at all?
β
If you're account has had an active connected brand for more than 24 hours and you still aren't seeing any data, we would recommend a brand resync, or if that doesn't work disconnecting and reconnection your brand.
