How to Check & Link Your Instagram to a Facebook Page

Check If Your Instagram Is Already Linked:

On Instagram:
1️⃣ Open the Instagram app and go to your profile.
2️⃣ Tap Edit Profile.
3️⃣ Under Public Business Information, look for Page.
4️⃣ If a Facebook Page is linked, you’ll see its name here. If not, you will need to link one.


How to Link Instagram to a Facebook Page (If Not Connected):

On Instagram:
1️⃣ Go to Edit Profile.
2️⃣ Tap Page under Public Business Information.

How to Check Your Facebook Page Role

1️⃣ Go to Facebook Business Suite and log in.
2️⃣ Click on the Facebook Page you’re trying to connect.
3️⃣ Go to Settings → Page Roles.
4️⃣ Look under Existing Page Roles to see what your role is:

✔️ Admin(You have full access and can connect Clue.Labs.)
Editor or Moderator (You do not have full access and need an Admin to change your role.)


What to Do If You’re Not an Admin

❌ If you’re not an Admin, ask the current Page Owner or an existing Admin to:
✔️ Promote you to an Admin role
✔️ Reconnect Instagram to Facebook under their account


How to Add an Admin to a Facebook Page

1️⃣ Go to Facebook Business Suite.
2️⃣ Click Settings → Page Roles.
3️⃣ Under Assign a New Page Role, enter the email of the person to add.
4️⃣ Select Admin from the dropdown menu.

4️⃣ Find Instagram and click Disconnect Account.
5️⃣ Confirm the removal.


📌 Step 2: Remove Facebook from Instagram

1️⃣ Open Instagram and go to Edit Profile.
