The Campaign Calendar

What this article covers: How to use the Campaign Calendar to view and manage your post suggestions by date.

Written by Inge

The Campaign Calendar gives you a visual view of all your post suggestions plotted across the calendar by their suggested date. It's the scheduling view of your campaigns — useful for seeing your full content schedule at a glance, checking for gaps or clusters, and managing posts from a time-based perspective.

How to access it

Go to Campaigns in the left navigation, then select Calendar View. You can also switch to Calendar View from within any individual campaign.

What you'll see

The Calendar shows all posts from all active campaigns for your currently selected account, plotted on the date Sam suggested for each one. Each post appears as a labelled block on its scheduled date, showing the format (IMG, VID, CAR) and the campaign it belongs to.

Different campaigns appear in different colours so you can distinguish them at a glance when multiple campaigns overlap.

Month view and Week view

Toggle between Month and Week using the buttons in the top right.

  • Month view gives you the full picture — useful for checking overall spread, identifying gaps, and planning production batches.

  • Week view gives you a closer look at a specific week — useful when you're actively working through content for the coming days.

Use the arrows to navigate forwards and backwards, or click Today to return to the current week or month.

Opening a post from the Calendar

Click any post block in the calendar to open its full Post Idea Details — the same brief you'd see in the Kanban board. From here you can read the full creative brief, update the post status, add notes, and link the published post once it's live.

How the Calendar and Kanban board work together

The Calendar and the Post Ideas Kanban board show the same posts — just organised differently. The Calendar organises by date. The Kanban board organises by status (To Do, In Progress, Posted).

Most people use the Calendar to plan and the Kanban board to execute. A good weekly workflow:

  1. Open the Calendar at the start of the week to see what's scheduled.

  2. Switch to Post Ideas to move the relevant posts to In Progress and work through them.

  3. As posts go live, return to Post Ideas to move them to Posted and link the published content.

Common questions

Can I change the suggested date of a post? Post dates are set by Sam based on your campaign duration and objectives. You can't edit them directly, but you can use the Notes field to flag a different timing to your team, or delete posts that don't fit your actual schedule.

Why are some posts not showing in the Calendar? Posts only appear in the Calendar once Sam has finished generating the campaign. If a campaign is still showing Content Generation In Progress, its posts won't appear yet. Wait for generation to complete and refresh.
