If your analytics aren’t showing up in Clue.Labs or your data seems outdated, don’t worry—this is a common issue with an easy fix. Below are the most common reasons your data might not be syncing and how to resolve them.
1. Reauthenticate Your Meta Connection
The most frequent cause of syncing issues is an expired or disconnected Meta connection. To fix this:
Check your dashboard – If your Meta connection needs reauthentication, you may see a notification prompting you to reconnect.
Manually refresh the connection – Head to Connections, locate your Instagram connection, and disconnect it.
Reconnect your account – Once disconnected, re-add your Instagram account to Clue.Labs. This should restore data syncing.
2. Wait for Data to Refresh
Sometimes, data takes a little time to update after reconnecting your account. If you’ve just reauthenticated your Meta connection:
Allow some time for the system to pull in fresh data.
Try refreshing your dashboard after a few minutes.
3. Ensure You Have the Right Permissions
If you recently changed Instagram or Facebook permissions, Clue.Labs may no longer have access to your data.
Double-check your Meta Business Suite settings to confirm Clue.Labs has the necessary permissions.
Ensure your Instagram account is properly linked to a Facebook Business Page.
