How to Set Up Your Account and Launch Your First Campaign

This guide walks you through the complete onboarding journey — from logging in to launching your first data-powered content campaign. It includes visual steps using real platform screenshots so you can follow along easily.


✅ Step 1: Log in with Magic Link

Go to Clue.Labs and log in using your email address.

  1. Enter your email and click Send Magic Link

  2. Check your email for a one-time passcode or link

  3. Enter the code or click the link to access your account

🏢 Step 2: Create Your Customer Profile (Company Account)

This is your overall Clue.Labs account — where all your brands will live.

  1. Add your Company Name

  2. (Optional) Upload a Logo

🎯 Step 3: Create Your First Brand

Brands are where your campaigns and content live. If you’re managing multiple businesses or clients, you’ll create one brand per entity.

  1. Click “Create Your First Brand”

  2. Give your brand a clear name (e.g. the business or personal brand name)

💳 Step 4: Complete Payment (Per Brand)

Once your brand is created, you’ll be prompted to complete payment for that brand.

💡 Pricing is per brand. Each brand includes its own dashboard, campaigns, insights, and social account connections.


🔗 Step 5: Connect Your Instagram Account

Head to Brand Connections to link your socials.

  1. Click Connect Account

  2. A Facebook pop-up will appear — this is expected

    (Instagram Business and Creator accounts must be linked to a Facebook Page per Meta’s API rules)

  3. Log in using the Facebook account that manages the connected Page

  4. Select “Opt into all accounts” when prompted

  5. Choose the correct Instagram Business/Creator profile

⚠️ If your Instagram isn’t showing, double-check that it’s a Business/Creator profile linked to a Facebook Page.

🧠 Step 6: Work Through Brand Settings

Sam, your AI strategist, will guide you through a few quick onboarding questions to personalise your content strategies:

You’ll be asked to:

  • Describe your audience

  • Share your tone and brand style

  • Define your voice

  • Add industry and goals

  • Set your posting frequency

💡 The more detail you give here, the more tailored your strategy will be.


📆 Step 7: Launch Your First Campaign

Now you’re ready to generate your first content campaign!

  1. Go to the Campaigns tab

  2. Choose your primary KPI (Sam will suggest one based on your weakest area)

  3. Set a date range (we recommend no longer than 1 month)

  4. Answer a few final questions to tailor your strategy

  5. Your campaign will be generated and emailed to you once it’s ready (usually within a few minutes)

🎉 You’re In!

You’ve now:

✅ Set up your account

✅ Connected your socials

✅ Told us who you are

✅ Started generating content with strategy baked in
